how to build your dream instead of rotting
plus, beauty maintenance and vibe coding have peaked
Back when I had my full time job, I used to berate myself over not being able to get up at 5am, edit and schedule content before my work day and then repeat the same after work. Some days just felt so long and tiring, and I saw other creators doing this, so blamed myself for not being good enough.
It’s only 4.5 years later that I’ve learned about why I felt those things. That finite willpower and decision-fatigue is a real thing. That if you continue to overachieve, marginally fail and self-criticise, you’ll not only burn out every month but your body and mind will be in bits.
Let’s fix this.
In this issue:
Building your dream when you’re tired after work
I’ve got an easy truth (for once) I really don’t think you need 6am starts and 12-week plans. Sure, for the Type A’s among us, it helps our flow and sense of peace.
But for the average person with a big dream but a life that doesn’t quite match up to it yet… all you really need is 15 minuted of dedicated time to move the needle.
Moving the needle is a corporate cringe term I used to hate but it serves a very important purpose. You could easily spend 15 minutes on branding or ‘consciously scrolling for ideas’.
But what will actually get you closer to your end goal is the work that most of us avoid (don’t get me started on the fear of failure and success being huge factors here).
So this week, as part of the free Part-Time Creator course I’ve been launching on the YouTube channel—I’ve dropped a full breakdown of what exactly is causing your post-work rot and how to get over it. You know me, I give you science, specificity and all of big sis advice.

heavy on number 5 though #personalfinance #personalfinancetips #moneymindset #financialWellness
Trending on TikTok this week was ‘propaganda I won’t be falling for’ and I really enjoyed creating a financial angle on this. It went viral, as it would because I didn’t hold back sharing some controversial thoughts on financial advice I don’t subscribe to.
Number 1 used to surprise me when it went viral a few years ago. As someone who had to fight their parents to get rid of their unibrow, my beauty maintenance routine (let alone costs) is very simple. But reading this article this week I realised just how much us women spend on little things here an there, all in the name of feeling and looking good.
Don’t get me wrong, I think confidence is a really important thing to have and build (it’s the friggin’ premise of Financial Hot Girl!) but just how much does confidence cost? Can you build it for free? I sure think so.
P.S. I’m writing this with bare nails because I can’t even be bothered putting press-on nails anymore…
Vibe coding gets you 6-figure investments
We are officially in the most insane era of life and business. Vibe coding gets you legit money to build and launch your ideas. All you need is dedicated time (see above 👀) and commitment to an idea.
Vibe coding is basically when non-technical people describe their app idea in plain language, and AI generates the code. I.e., coding off vibes instead of actual programming knowledge.
I’ve been following Sherry’s build-in-public journey on TikTok as she’s building an app I had on my ideas list a few years ago (ironically I never created it because back in 2018, hiring a dev and building an app would’ve cost big girl money… and those were my overdraft days!). Using a super modest tech stack to build peek.money, she’s raised six-figures. INSANE!

The AI landscape rn is crazy
Needless to say, while these are exciting times they’re also really overwhelming times. I’m currently building a few AI agents to help me not only stay on top of what’s happening in the industry but also stay on top of my personal admin… I’m going to start documenting this process online. Are you interested in following along? Let me know!! Drop a 🤖 when the videos start coming out!
As always, see you in the comments with your thoughts!!!
