i'm going all in on this
and i've been scared to admit it to you:
I’ve danced around this idea for over 3 years…
You’ve heard me drop the phrase Financial Hot Girl on Instagram, in captions, in off-hand podcast mentions. This newsletter even started out as the FHG newsletter.
But here’s the truth:
I never really launched it.
I never fully claimed it.
Because going all in on something, especially something that feels bold, different, and deeply you, is terrifying.
If you ended up here because you did the 100 day challenge, you’re trying to grow on social media, or simply get better with money: this is for you.
In this issue:
My intrusive thoughts in the last few years…
What if people don’t get it?
What if it’s “too much”?
What if it flops?
Despite these…something kept pulling me back to this brand. This feeling. This idea that financial literacy should be HOT.
Brands understood it too. BBC Radio 1 had me on as a financial hot girl, so have Starling, the Current Account Switch Service (and more in the making!)
Financial Hot Girl is the a movement I wanted it to be, and it doesn’t have to just be an idea in my head anymore.
So today, I’m saying it clearly:
I’m going all in on Financial Hot Girl. I’m building the coolest, chicest, financially-coded media brand. To ENSURE as many of you as possible become financially independent.
The more I learn about finances, the more I realise it’s not about how much you know—it’s about confidence, self-worth, and making money moves without feeling broke, overwhelmed, or ashamed.
And if you’re someone who’s building a brand, balancing a job, trying to get out of debt, earn more, show up online, stay fit, and not burn out in the process—you’re already part of it.
And YOU (yes, you!!!) reading this:
I want you to know how important I think financial literacy is. Being able to understand money enough to make your own decisions and be financially independent, not rely on anyone, anything, any situation, is a mission I am OBSESSED with as a reality for everyone, and for you. It’s my ultimate driver.
What to expect
❤️🔥 Well, I told you a few weeks ago that Financial Hot Girl was coming as its own show on YouTube… so that’s still happening! Subscribe so you don’t miss it
BTS: I’ve spent quite some time chatting to my first ever team member (an editor!) to help me get this live. It’s been a huge test of my delegation skills! The first episode is going to be all about a financial hot girl golden rule: don’t pay the self-hate tax. It’s landing Monday 7th April. Have you heard me chat about the self-hate tax? Do you pay it?
❤️🔥 The FHG digital social club is now also underway!
All the value I give you will from now on be under the umbrella of building your confidence and self-worth to ALLOW you to make big money moves.
❤️🔥 Part-time creator will be a part of Financial Hot Girl, it’s the way you grow your income and influence while keeping your 9-5
All in all, this will mean a very cohesive brand from now on—with a little more BTS content from my personal brand on how I’m building and growing a media brand.
Let me know your thoughts (as always) I don’t want this to be a one way street!

We’re unpacking the physical effects of growing up in a dysfunctional household…
Speaking of how your self-worth shows up in other areas of life… Farah and I talked all about how growing up in specific environments impacts your physical health. I’m finally in my gym girl era and it was an uphill battle to get here, so if you’re on a similar journey this might be a very validating listen!
Have a great week!
