Why I haven't failed Project 60
+ a new freebie!
I’m just over 3 weeks into my personal Project 60, a 60 day challenge I set myself to tighten up my reading habits, physical fitness and nutrition in the run up to 5 weeks (!) in South America.
I’m not surprised I’ve made it this far, because I’ve implemented some mindset improvements that I learned during 75 hard and the entirety of 2024.
In this issue:
A new freebie for you
We’ve wrapped up a 5 day reading challenge in the shelf-improvement club over on IG, and whilst it’s been going on I put together a little resource for you:

It’s still WIP, as I have to find all my notes from the years on the various books I’ve read and pop them in! But I hope it’s a helpful resource on what to read, why to read and ultimately help all of us stay on track with our reading goals.
I don’t just want to read more, I want to retain more—therefore all of my thoughts will be going into my public bookshelf.

I usually use my Kindle to take notes and highlights, and will be creating an automation for this to just plop into my Notion bookshelf for you to see. I also have this for physical books, which I loved during 75 hard last year:

Project 60 success markers
If you came along to my goal setting workshop, you’ll know that I love setting high leverage goals.
The high leverage goal I’m doubling down on is building an unshakeable level of self-discipline through 60 days of daily non-negotiables. Why?
→ It will help me build trust in myself
→ More self-trust = more action
→ More action = more progress
…and that’s more progress across all of my goals.
It’s also why I’m building financial hot girl, because the same habits that make you a disciplined person in the gym are the same habits that translate over to building wealth.
I will reveal more about what I’m doing for Project 60 in upcoming vlogs. Whilst actually doing the work, it’s hard to document — discipline isn’t aesthetic 🤭
So since I’m focussing on building self-discipline, here are some ways I’ve changed my behaviour and approach to habits during Project 60.
Old me
New me
Overwhelmed at the thought of forcing new habits for 60 days, feels impossible, gives up
Focusses on getting through the week, or even just the day in front of her
Drags feet through the mud, makes the whole challenge miserable, just focussed on the end goal
Enjoys the process: making a nice meal, dressing up for the walk outside, putting effort into daily rituals that seem exciting
Unclear on my why, doing a challenge because I think it will solve all my problems
Divert any present frustrated or impatient energy to reminding myself WHY I’m doing this
Chooses short-term comfort so my brain doesn’t go into overdrive
Understands that the discomfort is part of the process, and will soon feel comfortable, self-soothes brain through affirmations and just getting on with it!
Sets a goal to do something at X time on X day, but doesn’t
Constantly reminding myself: would I treat my friends this way? Self-soothing affirmations, positive self-talk, and journalling even when it feels stupid and cringey
Mood feels off, it’s a sign that this isn’t working, and that I should quit
Understands that mood and willpower can’t be controlled all the time, trusts the process and gets on with it (often improving my mood upon completing a non-negotiable)
These are just some of the things I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that to me, are stark differences to my old self because ‘old me’ honestly feels like just yesterday.
If you can relate to any of the ‘old me’ behaviours… try the new me switch up. And remind yourself that change doesn’t happen overnight.
The more you choose to act like a new you, the more automatic the behaviour comes over time. You have to choose to act, to then just be.

56. Soft life goal setting: embracing Feminine Energy in 2025
Double Life · Episode
I do so many things online that I forget to even tell you about them! Did you know that my friend Farah and I have a podcast? We talk all things mindset, entrepreneurship, habits, and navigating a layered life. This week, we’re talking all about embracing your feminine energy when setting goals.
Personally I still feel really new to the feminine/masculine energy discourse, but I know that I am chronically in my masculine. Farah teaches me a lot here! Listen in for some chill goal setting advice for 2025.
Short one from me this week as I prepare for the upcoming weeks… there’s a lot cooking in the background and I can’t wait to share all of it with you.
Have a great week!
