Sloppy Action: The Decision Tree and Action Bank
a decision flow & bare minimum actions you can take to undo your information paralysis
If you’re someone who’s prone to ruminating, overanalysing and researching something too much and never actually doing it—today I’m sharing a very practical decision tree for you to reference when you find yourself overthinking, as well as a bank of actions you can immediately use in different categories of life: career, habits, money and content.
These are all thought processes I personally use, and actions I have done in the past to kickstart doing something versus ruminating on it forever.

the art and science of sloppy action
Happy Sunday financial hotties 💌 Today, we need to talk about the one thing that will make or break your year.
There are two things to utilise in this issue; 1), the sloppy action decision flow, because I know it’s hard to decide when to take sloppy action vs actually do the helpful research, and 2), the action bank - a list of realistic but helpful ‘bad’ decisions to help you move forward in whatever you’re stuck on right now. This is designed for you to show up, read, and take action.
The Decision Flow
Designed by a chronic action avoider who transformed herself into an action taker (me). My sloppy action has won me awards, generated upwards of £70,000 through content creation and I have incorporated the line between research and action.
It’s how I actually think through my options and how I would advise anyone close to me on when to take actions versus actually research more, when to time box, or when to abandon your [over]thinking. Sometimes you need a nudge, and this is it.
